Executive Assistant

As executive assistant, Christie supports Susan Shingledecker, chief executive officer, and Patty Allen, vice president of operations, as well as the Development team. Stephens’ work includes drafting donor thank-you letters, gift entry, data management and other administrative support.

Stephens earned a degree in psychology from Liberty University and is currently completing a degree in human resource management at the University of Maryland. Stephens also brings a background in government and nonprofit work to her role, including her service as a commissioner on the Maryland Critical Area Commission for the Chesapeake and Atlantic Coastal Bays.

In her free time, Stephens enjoys reading, traveling, live music and a lazy day at the beach.
