Molly Connors

Vice President of Development and Strategic Partnerships

As vice president of development and strategic partnerships, Molly Connors oversees fundraising and partnership efforts across individual giving, foundations, corporations and federal and state grants, working to grow the relationships that support Chesapeake Conservancy’s watershed-wide conservation mission.

Connors’ experience spans fundraising, business development and strategic communications, often in roles where she has built programs from the ground up. Most recently, Connors served as C-SPAN’s first development manager, where she established the organization’s individual giving program, shaped campaign strategy and helped build the systems and partnerships needed to support long-term growth. Throughout her career, Connors has led individual giving efforts, built digital sponsorship revenue streams for PBS, and worked with hundreds of nonprofits to strengthen fundraising and advocacy impact through digital engagement campaigns.

Connors values trust and transparency in fundraising and partnerships, especially in how organizations show their work to donors and supporters. Connors holds a bachelor’s of arts in history from Randolph-Macon College and is a long-term Annapolis resident. Outside of work, Connors enjoys experiencing the Chesapeake Bay watershed by boat and on foot, taking long walks and spending time with her husband and two adult children.
