Carly Sniffen

Interpretive Outreach Specialist

Carly was raised and still resides in Baltimore County, Maryland. She is a May 2019 graduate of Salisbury University with a major in Environmental Studies and minor in Geographic Information Science (GIS). Upon graduating, Carly was a Camp Counselor and Park Ranger at Pemberton Historical Park in Salisbury, MD for the summer where she provided educational excursions, field trips, environmental activities teaching about the outdoors and gave environmental programs to campers. In addition, Carly has worked as a Field Geologist, and as a MarineMammal Enrichment volunteer for the National Aquarium. As an Interpretive Outreach Assistant, Carly hopes to share her passion for the environment with the community by working to develop and promote community engagement and working to restore and protect the Chesapeake Bay watershed. In her free time, some of Carly’s hobbies include; hiking, being outdoors, reading, yoga, spending time with friends and family, being surrounded by animals, and staying active.
