Jenna Feinauer

Bilingual Interpretive Outreach Assistant

Jenna Feinauer is a Maryland native. She grew up climbing trees and splashing in the nearby creek. This appreciation for nature drove her to work to protect natural spaces particularly the Chesapeake Bay. Jenna now studies environmental studies and Spanish at Salisbury University while in the Honors College and on the varsity volleyball team. At Salisbury, Jenna is rebuilding an old hydroponics system which will grow produce for the dining hall, serving as a delegate within Maryland colleges who fights for accelerated climate action and hosting a summit to commemorate pivotal moments in environmental justice. Jenna went to a Spanish immersion elementary school in which all her classes starting in second grade were in Spanish. She is excited to use her Spanish speaking skills to make Maryland state parks a welcoming place for everyone. In her free time, Jenna enjoys hiking, reading science fiction and spending time with friends.
