Sarah Johnson

Natural Resource and Conservation Mapping and Management Intern

Sarah is a senior environmental science, geography and GIS student at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She is expected to graduate in December 2023 with a Bachelor of Science. This summer, Sarah will be working with the Chesapeake Conservancy’s Conservation Innovation Center (CIC) and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to make maps of and learn about the management of the BLM’s only land in Maryland: Douglas Point Special Recreation Management Area in Charles County.

She is very excited to be working with the CIC and BLM this summer. In her free time, she enjoys reading, crocheting, swimming, playing music, and spending time with friends and family outdoors.
